Mike helped create the agile Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) and has been using agile methods, including Feature-Driven Development (FDD), Scrum, and Extreme Programming (XP), for over 20 years. He has served on the board of directors for the Agile Alliance and the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN).
Mike cofounded the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Agile Community of Practice and helped to create the PMI-ACP® certification and exam. He led the writing team for PMI’s Agile Practice Guide and cowrote the Software Extension to the PMBOK® Guide.
